The children's Christmas party will be held at the Lititz fire department, same date and time; Saturday at 11:00 AM. Thanks to the Lititz Fire Company for allowing us to use their facilities.
The club is shut down until further notice. All questions should be directed to the VFW state office.

Auxiliary Auction and Bake Sale
The Ladies Auxiliary will be holding a blind auction and bake sale, October 19 from 9am to noon during breakfast at the post and again October 20 from 4pm to 6pm during monday madness at the post, all money will go to CANCER AID AND RESEARCH

Veterans Service Office at the Post
Veterans of Foreign Wars Veterans Service Office
will be at the post on Mondays from 1 to 6 p.m., starting September
8th, connecting veterans from all service eras
and their loved ones with their
eligible benefits and services.
The first place winner of the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest, Alessandra Levato, sponsored by Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1463, Lititz, PA, stands at the podium at the National Convention in St. Louis on July 22, 2014. “Ali” addressed the crowd of more than 1,000 auxiliary members and guests. She read the short essay that accompanied her winning entry and expressed thanks to everyone at Post 1463 who helped her achieve the prize of a $10,000 scholarship and gifts from the national auxiliary and National Madam President “Sissy” Borel. . . . . .(more).

Lititz Springs Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1463 hosted a breakfast for the Dept. of PA Voice of Democracy district winners on January 18. This is the second consecutive year Post 1463 has been selected to entertain the students during their awards weekend . . .(more)

A local mom reached out to Lititz Springs VFW Post 1463 to help welcome home her son who was returning to Lititz for a well-deserved leave after deployment in Afghanistan. The VFW and Ladies Auxiliary organized a welcome for Blake Cameron Bomberger at Post 1463 on Friday August 9th. Cameron received an enthusiastic reception from VFW and Auxiliary members and Post patrons . . . (more)
Ladies Auxiliary Earns State and National Awards
The Ladies Auxiliary to Lititz Springs VFW Post 1463 earned numerous commendations for attaining or surpassing auxiliary program goals in 2012-2013. At the state convention in Lancaster in June, the Ladies Auxiliary received citations of merit for Veterans and Family Support, Americanism, Hospitals, Cancer Aid & Research, Scholarships, Community Service Reporting, Youth Activities and contributions to the VFW National Home for Children. Post 1463 Receives National Award
Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #1463 and Ladies Auxiliary of Lititz, Pennsylvania, was the recipient of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Outstanding Community Service Post Award at the VFW’s National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky on July 22 during an invitation only reception. Veterans from Coatesville Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) recently attended two events sponsored by VFW Post 1463 and its Ladies Auxiliary. On June 5, a dozen veterans found their way to Waltonian Pines in Schaefferstown for a day of fishing. Our visitors were quick to jump off the bus, get their fishing gear and bait and head to the pond . . . (more)

there is a special flag disposal ceremony where the flag is burned
in accordance with flag disposal protocol.

The Ladies Auxiliary is collecting Labels for Education for the VFW National Home. These labels, when combined with others from across the USA, purchase minivans----yes, minivans--- for the National Home. Details are available here
115 Years of Service
As your new Commander I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to serve Lititz Springs VFW Post 1463. At present, the post is going through some difficult times and the VFW members have been forced to make some difficult decisions. We are asking for everyone’s support, so we may make Post 1463 strong again and continue to serve our Veterans and the Community.. . . . (more...)
it isn’t Thanksgiving yet, I’d like to take a moment to
express my gratitude to several people. First of all, I give my thanks
to Annie Scotten for her many years of faithful service and hard work
as the manager of the Canteen. Annie, you will be missed!
news, I hope you will join me in congratulating Laura Manley on her
new position as the Canteen manager. Secondly, I give my thanks to
Theresa Price for helping Laura as she transitions into this new position.
Thirdly, I give thanks to Jim Painter for installing the new Enter
and Exit signs in the parking lot. And last but not least, I give my
thanks to the folks who are working hard in the kitchen cooking and
serving us delicious food for all of us.
